Dear Friends:

Allow me to introduce you to my community, the Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians. The Mississippi Choctaw have a rich and lively culture that pre-dates recorded history and that is still strong today; we honor our ancestors and our history by keeping our language and traditions alive even as we embrace the modern world.

In the spirit of sharing our culture and continuing to build upon our economic development plan, we are proud to host the 8^th Annual NABA Fund National Business/Procurement Conference on our reservation in Choctaw, Mississippi. Our Tribe’s Chief and Tribal Council are looking forward to this opportunity to showcase the many ways that Corporate America can do business with the Mississippi Choctaw. From our manufacturing and printing concerns to our Resort Development Enterprise, there are multiple ways in which we can meet the needs of large corporations and other companies.

We also believe in the advancement of other Native American communities, and in recognition of NABA’s efforts to advance the economic interests of Native American-owned companies throughout North America we embrace the upcoming Conference. At this Conference, you will be able to meet corporate procurement representatives face-to-face and get the inside track on the steps you must take to do business with Fortune 500s; gain valuable business skills through the many workshops offered; network with representatives of Tier Ones and of other companies that may provide partnership opportunities for you; experience the culture of the Mississippi Choctaw during tours of our reservation and our cultural presentations…and this list is just the beginning! There are good reasons to come to the NABA Fund Conference every year, but this year’s event promises to be the most effective for the Native American business owner that we have ever held. As a NABA board member, a Mississippi Choctaw community member, and a successful business owner, I am greatly anticipating this event.
